“I’ve liked writing since I was a kid. In the fourth grade, I was one of two kids in the entire school who got a 6 (the highest score possible) on a narrative essay. In high school, I casually wrote songs and short stories or poems. Nowadays, I still casually write, but I blog, I write songs still, and I have other short stories I’m working on. I’m currently experimenting with different genres in writing and different formats as I’m able to get a better idea of what I’m good at and what I like to write.
I also enjoy writing realistic fiction. I started my own Podcast series with a friend called Awkward Mammals, and there’s a bit of writing we do there too. I have a blog on WordPress called “23, Mormon, & Divorced” which has a mission to be a resource for others. Writing with the intent to offer solace and uplift and “mourn” with others is part of my belief system. It’s as simple as that.”
